Hi Hilary,
I just had to email you already to tell you that I am very, very pleased with the EquiAmi so far.
I have used it on all three of my horses who are at very different stages of retraining.  My top horse who is currently at BE Intermediate level, so is very established, completely understood how it worked the first time he wore it on the lunge and was within minutes stretching down very nicely indeed whilst working in with a lovely forward movement.
My newest horse off the track a 4yr old worked it out the second time I used it and again was subsequently working very well over his back.

I am however, the most surprised with my middle horse Popps who it has been a very, very long road for.  She is very tight over her back and although can work properly when she wants to struggles to maintain this way of going all the time.

She has now been working in the EquiAmi for just over a week and finally yesterday things started to click into place.  All of a sudden halfway through lungeing she started stepping through underneath herself like I have never seen her do before and really lowered her head and neck and soften her top line completely.

I have lunged her again today and was pleasantly surprised to see that she had obviously remembered and liked her work from yesterday and she more or less went straight into the same way of working in a very long and low outline and really tracking up and even over tracking quite substantially like she has never done before.

Hopefully from this you can gather that I am very impressed indeed with my trial of the EquiAmi and would very much like to continue to use it with my horses in the future.  I can honestly say what a fabulous training aid this is and really worthwhile.  I will definitely be recommending this to my clients to help improve their horse’s way of going.
I would like to thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to try this product out.

Kind regards, Victoria Bax

My reply to this was: I am not surprised by your mare's reaction. The ones that take the longest have, in our experience, been sensitive mares with a tendency to be a bit uptight and/or distrusting. They really have to submit and relax into the lunge aid and this seems to go against their self-preservation instincts until they decide to give it a go. They are then surprised to be instantly rewarded by the aid loosening and giving them their freedom. Often the best long-term results are achieved with these horses as it really changes their way of thinking.
